Growth-factor signalling
GHRP-2 Acetate
What is it?
GHRP-2 is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing peptide that activates the growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Acetate describes a supplied salt/counterion form, not a different target. Its receptor pathway overlaps with ghrelin biology and differs from GHRH receptor activation.
How it is studied
Human mechanistic studies examine changes in growth-hormone secretion and appetite. These effects show that secretagogues can influence more than one endpoint. A larger GH response should not be treated as a direct measure of muscle growth or overall health.
What the evidence shows
A small controlled study in healthy men found increased food intake during GHRP-2 exposure. Other studies investigated growth hormone and IGF-related biomarkers in older adults. Their populations and short-term endpoints limit extrapolation to performance or long-term use.
Limitations & safety context
Appetite changes and endocrine effects are relevant research considerations. The attachment does not establish the acetate content, exact sequence, purity or consistency of the two listed strengths. Human biomarker studies do not validate a separately supplied research vial.
