Blends
Cagrilintide / Semaglutide
What is it?
The attachment lists this combination as “cagrilintide+Samaglutide”. Semaglutide is the recognised compound name; the supplier spelling needs confirmation. Cagrilintide and semaglutide act through different receptor systems, so a blend must be described by both components.
How it is studied
The research rationale is to combine amylin-related satiety signalling with GLP-1 receptor activity. Clinical coadministration and a supplier premixed vial are not automatically the same formulation. Total mass does not establish the amount of either component.
What the evidence shows
The 2025 REDEFINE 1 phase 3 trial studied a defined cagrilintide–semaglutide regimen in adults with overweight or obesity without type 2 diabetes. Mean weight change was greater than with placebo over 68 weeks. This supports the trial combination under its specified conditions; it does not validate every product using the same names.
Limitations & safety context
The attachment gives only total contents of 5 mg and 10 mg and does not state a component ratio. Do not infer equal proportions. Gastrointestinal effects and the safety considerations of the components remain relevant, while stability and compatibility of this supplier blend are not established by the price list.
